Due to childhood polio, Eva-Maria has been sitting in a wheel chair for as long as she can remember. Her whole life she has been fighting an uphill battle to be accepted as a full-fledged member of society. Today, having reached the end of her 30ies, she dares to take a courageous step: She has decided to become a mother. Chronicled by one of her assistants, this film provides unusually intimate insight into living outside the norms of conventional family planning.
