The bark beetle kills trees. Its massive proliferation is a consequence of the man-made climate catastrophe and monoculture as opposed to nature. Trekking a landscape impacted by change, we follow the beetle through the ongoing process of destruction till the insect arrives at the door of our own habitat. Scenarios are constructed employing 3D laser scans of real locations and constructed atmospheres; the bark beetle symbolizes our potential future as it enters our own homes.
