Out of the blue, 77- year-old “I” loses her language. She reacts with different strategies of assimilation or resistance to attempts to make her function or to tranquilize her. It becomes evident that she, just like the world around her, is caught in language regulations and commonplaces. Accordingly vague and ambiguous is the reality around “I”: Could everything be staged?
