Stories of a Boy, a Woman and a Soldier: We travel back in time and dive into their memories. Individual scenes come together to form a story that increasingly interweaves the fates of all three protagonists: When Reza’s parents are killed in a bomb explosion, he decides to leave Afghanistan and go to Germany. German soldier Matthias is no longer able to cope in his homeland after being deployed to Afghanistan. Stefanie, a caretaker in Berlin, cannot comprehend, why her son became a soldier.
